Regarding the 6v6 maps, the sheer number of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 maps we have at rotation is actually quite impressive. The 2019 launch had significantly fewer, which is an essential factor that players insist on. Out of 10 maps that we had at launch, only one stood out as being really terrible and that is the border crossing map. However, the other nine aren’t all sunshine and rainbows, but every game has some that are simply not that bad. Overall, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has a nice variety when it comes to layouts, settings, and color pallets.

Also, another nice thing about the maps, which was present in the 2019 version as well, is that you can jump on almost anything. It makes the game feel fluid and satisfying. Not to mention, it adds to the tactical part of the game since you can use this ability to outsmart your enemies.

Guns inside Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

Another great part about this game is the guns. They feel and sound amazing. Some of the movement at times can feel a bit clunky and there’s an abundance of visual recoil. If we weren’t to nitpick, overall – the gunplay is pretty solid.

Another great thing regarding guns is that the balance is amazing for a COD launch. Of course, there is room for improvement but we believe that this is more than acceptable considering the game came out just recently.

Gameplay improvements

If you’re someone that likes to move around and be aggressive, we have some good news for you. The footsteps in this installation are a lot better than they used to be. Now, you can move around freely without worrying about an enemy hearing you from an ungodly distance.

Also, another great thing that they have added is swimming. If you’re underwater, you can only use pistols but full autos will be available to you once you’re on the surface. We are glad they didn’t go overboard with this option.

Missing features

Sadly, this game has a lot of missing features that we won’t see at all or they will come only in the later parts.

For example, the hardcore game modes won’t be with us until the release of the first season. There are no barracks with combat records and challenge lists, after-action reports, double XP countdown, camo pop-ups, weapon tuning, detailed weapon stats, and many more.

Closing thoughts

Even with all of the issues that are currently present, we are sure you will be able to have fun! There are still a lot of things that need fixing. It does feel like the developers pushed its launch too early and the game ended up feeling like it’s not quite finished. However, as everything’s fixed and we get a lot more features, this could be a really good COD game. So, we suggest you hold on to your money for now and jump on the bandwagon once the game is complete.

This project has always required excellent casting, and Netflix’s The Sandman does not disappoint. Finding actors that resemble comic book characters the most isn’t always the best option. David Bowie’s big-haired, late-’60s folk singer phase was famously depicted to resemble Lucifer Morningstar, the mythical fallen angel who rules over hell. Here, the role is filled by the statuesque Gwendoline Christie of Game of Thrones, who, despite being a woman, perfectly captures Lucifer’s charming smugness. A very knowledgeable and peaceful interpretation of Death, who consoles the recently deceased and leads them on a route to the hereafter, is provided by Kirby Howell-Baptiste.

Bonus points go to whoever had the brilliant idea to portray John Cameron Mitchell, the creator of Hedwig and the Angry Inch, as the proprietor of a drag cabaret in Florida. In the midst of all the strangeness, Dream serves as something of a straight guy, yet Sturridge has just the right amount of baby face and scowl. It makes sense that he got the role above 200 other performers for the part.

Theoretically, it should be simpler than ever to make a CGI-heavy genre program seem nice. However, even studios with enormous pockets of Marvel have had repeated failures in this area. Gary Steele, the production designer for Outlander, uses visual effects far more skillfully in The Sandman. In Dream’s realm, hell, and other supernatural locations, there are numerous landscapes that are obviously computer-created. For the most part, these parts appear purposefully animated, like incredibly detailed renditions of comic book art. While the waking world resembles our planet quite closely. This includes a greater density of bars, fast-food restaurants, and gloomy alleys.

It’s been a while since we heard about the development of State of Decay 3 as the third part of Undead Labs’ open-world survival horror game series. Matt Booty, the head of Xbox Game Studios, has revealed some information about this new game on Major Nelson’s podcast.

Almost two years have passed since the State of Decay 3 announcement. At the time, developer Undead Labs stated that the game was still in its early stages of pre-production. Action role-playing survival horror game Dying Light 2 Stay Human has an open environment with a zombie apocalypse theme. During the game, you have to be careful not to run out of time, otherwise, Aiden will become a zombie and it will be game over for you. In order for the infection not to progress, you have to find UV rays, collect mushrooms or make inhalers that will bring you back to normal. What I particularly like about this mechanic is the addition that you are not instantly dead when your time runs out, but have a set period of time to find a safe place as much as your health allows. It’s also a nice detail that you hear Aiden’s voice change from human to monster as your immunity drops.

The Map

The setting of Dying Light 2 is humanity’s last hope, the last city on Earth. Villedor is divided into two parts – Old Villedor and Central Loop. Although they are part of the same city, they are definitely not designed the same. Old Villedor is home to old and low-rise buildings. However, the Central Loop is full of tall skyscrapers that offer an idyll as far as the eye can see once you climb to the highest point in the city. What can be said about the whole city is that the rooftops are filled with life. Unlike Harran in Dying Light, which was a gloomy and sad city, the situation here is somewhat different.

Warm and bright colors prevail on the tops of buildings and houses because that is where the surviving people moved. Grass, trees, branches, and plants grow on the roofs, which now symbolize the “new normal” for the residents of Villedor. Once you hit the streets of the city, notice the contrast between the sky and the earth. Zombies walk the streets of Villedor, and in contrast to the vivid heights, the land is still lit by gloomy and numb colors. This contrast is more pronounced in Old Villedor than in the Central Loop.

Bad things about Dying Light 2

Drifting Dragons – television production – is a product of Polygon Pictures, who are also the production house behind Knights of Sidonia. However – unlike its predecessor series- Drifting Dragons is not a sci-fi epic, instead it leans more towards the side of steampunk. According to Crunchyroll, a reliable source of  Anime news and content, this anime offers the viewer a “culinary fantasy-adventure”.

The story plays out in a world with a somewhat feudal setting, where the trading routes between distant pockets of humanity are maintained by massive blimp-like airships. Coincidentally, these same airships are used for hunting dragons – a big part of this story.

The series follows the life of Takita – the main character and newest member of one of the last draking-ships (dragon hunting as it’s known in the series), the Quin Zaza, as she and the rest of the crew members harpoon and butcher gigantic flying beasts (not too dissimilar to whaling) to sell and stay fed.

Drifting Dragons Episode by Episode

In terms of world building, one can only call it stellar work. The pilot episode does inspire curiosity about the flying beasts, which play a central role in the story. Interestingly, the dragons in this series are not quite the reptilian beasts that we normally see on our screens. Instead, they look more like the mythical creatures you’d see in a Mizayaki production.

It follows the day to day happenings the Quin Zaza, a draking-ship manned by an ensemble cast where Mika – who is a skilled dragon hunter tasked with showing the Takita the newcomer the art of draking – is the only character (apart from Takita) who truly stands out. He also happens to have some kind of a spiritual connection with the dragons, and also happens to be a terrific cook.

Which takes us to another strange part of this series. Just about every episode involves the cooking of some kind of dragon meat dish. Interestingly, one never gets a true idea of how this dragon meat might taste. One ought to take note that the show does take its time to settle into its strange groove.

The series does have great subtitles – for those who prefer to watch anime in Japanese – and has an equally good English dub, making it a lot more child friendly.

Conclusion

Drifting Dragons had much hype behind it prior to its release and the show does have the ingredients of what could be a great animated television production. However, it is a little disappointing that the show finds itself lacking the dramatic tension it ought to have. Cookie-cutter characters and a narrative with wobbly consistency also way the show down.

In a nutshell, Drifting Dragons hasn’t done too well at blending life drama and full on action the way it should have. This makes it a lot less enthralling than one might have anticipated. However, the fact that there is no villain in the story might do the series a lot of good – if it’s kept that way.

Lived up to all expectations

First of all, I must admit that Doom Eternal did live up to all of my expectations. I am a fan of doom always, have been a family fan of doom, I love the original doom classic – it is one of the greatest games of all time. It is the RPG that paved the way for all other RPG’s.
Doom eternal is Doom 2016. on steroids. They didn’t miss anything that doom 2016. had, they didn’t get anything wrong that they got right in doom 2016 at least for what I played.

New features

One of the biggest features of course is the hook and chain coming at the bottom of the shotgun which is absolutely amazing, I don’t know why you’d want to play with any other gun because that gun is super – i just love it! But of course, you have to play with many guns in this game because they do not give you much ammo which is one of the ways you have to play. You have to play the game very fast, and be changing guns very often in this game as they don’t give you a lot of ammo.

If you played doom 2016. then you will know how to play doom eternal, same type style, same type flow – and I almost wrote same type feel but not quite, because that is really the main thing I want to get into.

Nostalgic Doom

Doom eternal had a much more nostalgic feel than doom 2016. for some reason it kept pulling  me back to the original doom games in my mind, even though there was no direct reference to the classic doom – it just had that feel of a classic doom game – and that is great! Doom eternal definitely has that nostalgic feel, it just brings that classic Doom feeling. If you’ve ever played the original doom, you’re going to get that feeling while playing Doom eternal.  Developers have admitted, that they love the classic Doom, and they very often go and play it once more, just to be sure that everything that they are doing is correct and lines up the the lore of Doom. Yes, Doom has lore – and developers make sure that they stay true to that lore.

I loved the feeling that this game has from the very start of the game. This game is also jam-packed with new weapons and new enemies. It also has some new goodies as far as new multiplayer things that they have added as well. So, if you are looking for some new adventures in doom then look to doom eternal. It is coming out this November, November 22nd.

Let me give you a few specifics of the gameplay. If you’ve never played Doom, you should know that it is FAST, it is probably the fastest game I’ve ever played. If you thought doom 2016. was fast, well – this is just as fast if not faster, but it is probably the fastest game that you will ever play. Also, the gunplay is to smooth the gunplay. It is some of the best first-person-shooting that is on the market, but you better get good at switching between weapons, and it is knowing which weapon to use for which enemy. Also, it’s not a story-drive game, it is a level driven game even though there is a story. I also notice that there are more puzzles in Doom eternal that there was in doom 2016., and when I say puzzles I’m talking about the obstacles that you have to go through with your character, and of course there are some things that you have to solve but the more obstacle based puzzles  that you’ll have to go through with your character. And lastly, there are going to be more Boss fights in Doom eternal that there were in Doom 2016. as well , all in all Doom eternal is a fast, phonetic, bloody, fierce , amazing, brutal – you pick the adjectives. But it is a wonderful game that I would recommend  to anyone that loves a good first-person shooter.

When Doom Eternal gets released on November 22nd it has my full stamp of approval.
