Crypto.com Exchange Review

Hong Kong based digital asset service provider, Crypto.com, in December of 2019, launched their brand new trading platform to the public.

Still in the Beta phase,

The new Crypto.com Exchange offers digital asset traders the most secure, as well as, the most liquid exchange in the market.

Crypto.com’s exchange platform can be accessed through the firm’s web interface, via API, or through the Crypto.com mobile app. In addition to top notch security and excellent liquidity, the trading platform also offers to traders, competitive trading fees as well as an institutional-grade custody service through a partnership with Ledger Vault.

Security

Crypto.com pulled out all the stops in their quest to develop, what is arguably, the best trading platform in the digital assets sphere. The crypto service provider enlisted digital security firm, Kudelski Security, who gave the hatchling exchange a thorough look over throuh a rigorous assessment process.

The platform was also put through it’s paces by way of a battery of tests to ascertain whether or not it was up to scratch. The Crypto.com exchange went through a series of penetration tests, risk control reviews, to make sure the trading platform’s security infrastructure made the grade.

Supported Assets

The exchange initially supports a few tradable digital assets and coins, with plans to add more assets and pairs in future. It currently supports BTC, ETH, LTC, XRP, XLM, EOS, USDT as well as Crypto.com’s native coins, CRO and MCO. The platform currently features support for BTC, CRO and USDT based pairs.

Fee Structure

Trading fees on Crypto.com Exchange are so competitive they can be considered market beating. Fees as as low as 0.008% for market making trades, and 0.02% for taker trades. High volume accounts will receive the benefit of discounts derived from their trading volume. When paired with CRO staking discounts, they will be able to trade virtually for free.

Liquidity

Despite being a new platform, Crypto.com exchange enjoys deep, global liquidity – owing to a tie-in of it’s parent firm’s Vortex Liquidity Engine. This allows users access to robust liquidity pools and execution prices.

Powered By CRO Token

Crypto.com’s CRO token powers the exchange, acting as the platform’s native exchange token. As with other exchange token’s it comes packed with a number of utility benefits.

Staking CRO will, as mentioned, earn the user with trading fee discount of up to 100%. In addition to that, staking will afford users the benefit of a 20% per annum yield. Users who hold CRO tokens will also receive priority token allocations whenever new tokens are listed through the platform’s The Syndicate fund raising facility.

Platform Interface

Crypto.com Exchange’s offers an elegant, and easy to navigate interface. The charting experience is a cut above the rest, as charts are powered by professional charting platform, Trading View, which isn’t short of all the tools necessary for top level traders to assess market conditions, make decisions and execute trades appropriately.

Conclusion

The Crypto.com team has pulled out all the stops in the construction of their trading platform and have obviously made a lot of considerations. The Beta version is so good that one would believe it to be a complete, gold standard exchange.
