It mostly used to track vehicles like cars, motorcycles, and pickup van.  Nowadays you will get different types of tracking devices in the market and which have different features. All companies always display the advantages of a particular product that they have launched.

Here we will try to focus on some disadvantages of a GPS Tracking system that everyone needs to know.

1. Inaccuracy: GPS tracking system work based on the internet and satellite. So a strong internet and satellite connections required to get accurate results from the GPS tracking system. GPS tracking system receives a signal from at least four satellites. If the GPS tracker receives signals from three satellite then the problem will occur and it will not provide you the accurate information. Due to the extreme atmospheric condition and geographic condition can causes problem to provide accurate information. In Bangladesh, high-speed internet is not available everywhere and that will be the problem of GPS trackers to provide real-time information.

2. Signal or battery failure: GPS tracker can cause problem due to signal failure. Most of the GPS tracker works based on a high power battery. But at the time the battery charge will lose then the GPS tracker will be disconnected that will be a problem to drive in unknown roan. In the traditional MAP, you will get your location but you would not get any direction to go ahead. For example, you are driving on an unknown road using GPS direction and somehow you lose your GPS connection. Then you will face trouble.

3. Privacy issue: the most common and important disadvantage of a GPS tracking system is privacy. The GPS tracking system is controlled by a concerned GPS tracking company. They will accumulate your all information and present it to you in an understandable way. They are getting all information about you and your vehicles. If you use GPS tracker for business purpose then they will get more information about your business and that is very harmful to you. They will also monitor your daily activity and get information about your personal life that is not good for all.
