However, in parts where it doesn’t excel, it really messes up. The training, tutorial and online parts feel not finished. Same thing with the Invasion mode and Kameo mechanic. Although, I cannot beat them up about it since it is freshly added and will need some time to perfect. All in all, those who have loved previous installments will probably enjoy this one. Despite the fact that some parts are looking increasingly dated. In my opinion, it is not worth the full-priced fighter tag that it has.

None of the characters in the show’s eight episodes are particularly engaging on their own, assuming that viewers already care about them based on their prior appearances.

Throughout the game, Clive gradually gains new Eikon abilities, allowing players to customize their playstyle. This particular DLC, Shadow of the Erdtree, is thought to bring a lot of changes to the overall lore and shine a light on a lot of mysteries of the world.

On the 23rd of February, the Elden Ring team announced the upcoming expansions on their Twitter account. Since then, there has really been little information from the developing team. However, that did not stop fans from speculating about the content of the expansion.

Who is the person riding Torrent in the picture?

At first glance, a lot of fans would say that the person in the picture is Queen Marika. The similarities are definitely there: golden braided hair and similarly placed armbands. However, another, but less popular, theory is that it is actually one of Markia’s children a demigod by the name of Miquella.

The hairstyle depicted in the announcement post is identical to Miquella’s and all the known statues show them to have exact same garments as well. What’s also interesting is that Marika is always shown as an adult, whilst this person looks childlike. An Elden Ring character that was cursed to an eternal childhood perhaps? Seem’s too good of a coincidence to miss out on. Another clue we have is the sentence of the post:

Rise, Tarnished, and let us walk a new path together.

Miquella is rumored to want a new world order established in the Lands Between. So, with my whole heart, I can confidently say that the person in the image is Miquella.

What does that say about our mount Torrent?

It would be foolish to consider Torrent just a simple mount that gets you from A to B when in reality he’s a full-on character. At the beginning of the game, he chooses you in the graveyard and while the whistle to call Torrent is given to you by Melina, she is simply acting on his will.

However, someone that knows more about the spectral steed is Ranni. You may remember her as the person who gives you the three lone spirit wolves also at the beginning of the game and says they’re from Torrent’s former master. There’s a relief in Farum Azula that depicts a small child-like figure surrounded by three wolves. But, we are not given any concrete evidence whether this is Torrent’s former master. Miquella was a notable craftsman that could have made the whistle ring, and also he is quite famous for their ability to install loyalty in others. This is just speculation, but it is highly possible that Torrent’s former master is indeed him.

What’s Shadow of the Erdtree?

The thing in the image that we can be the least sure of is the dark erdtree in the distance. It still acts as a light source like other erdtrees in the game but it is a lot weaker. It seems as if there are two erdtrees in the image. The straight one is weeping gold like other retirees and a darker one that’s smothering the other.

My favorite theory is that this occurrence is actually happening in some kind of spirit realm. There are no known plants that could have done something like this to an Erdtree and also the timeline with Miquella’s storyline wouldn’t exactly fit. The spirit graves surrounding Torrent and the landscape that is unlike anything in Lands Between support the fact that this might actually be a spirit realm. We must not forget about Miquella’s alternative existence in the spirit realm as St. Trina. But, what does this mean for the lore? Sadly, there’s little information about the spirit realms and we would have to wait for the DLC to drop.

Final thoughts and release date

We aren’t expecting the DLC anytime soon, not even this year considering the trailer hasn’t been yet announced. Needless to say, everyone in the gaming community is very excited and were quite disappointed when nothing was published earlier in June. Since Resident Evil 4 is regarded as one of the best video games of all time, it was assumed that when Capcom remade Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3, they were also preparing to remake RE4. Fans were obviously ecstatic when the announcement trailer finally debuted in June 2017 along with a release date.

The anticipation for this game grows with each new sneak-peak Capcom provides; it is incredibly beautiful and they have upgraded the gameplay for the current console generation without losing the action-hero feelings of the original. On March 23, Leon S. Kennedy and his recognizable leather jacket will be accessible on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation.

If Guerrilla’s past performance is any indication, Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores will be a captivating sequel to what was previously an amazing game. The Frozen Wilds was a stunning follow-up to the 2017 breakthrough success Horizon Zero Dawn. We only know one thing regarding the DLC: Aloy is going to Hollywood! Aloy is seen flying over a post-apocalyptic Los Angeles in the teaser, complete with streaming lava. He’s also seen with what appears to be an extremely enraged Horus machine ready to cause trouble. On April 19 on PlayStation 5, the ongoing mission to once again save the world will begin.

THE LEGEND OF ZELDA: TEARS OF THE KINGDOM

This year will see the release of a sequel for yet another legendary franchise. The eagerly awaited follow-up to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, which won Game of the Year in 2017, has been in development for some time, but Nintendo has been strangely quiet about any developments.

Nintendo released the game’s title and the release date formally at the Nintendo Direct in September of last year. Much to the excitement of fans, who had previously seen a brief teaser trailer at E3 in 2021. Although The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom looks equally as stunning as its predecessor, nothing is known about Link’s latest journey. Its debut on May 12 will likely mark Nintendo’s largest drop of the year.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League was initially slated to release last year, but the announcement trailer debuted at DC Fandome in 2021. Since then, Rocksteady has announced a new release date for the game: May 26. The narrative is set after Arkham Knight in the same universe as the Arkham video games. Kevin Conroy will make his final appearance as Batman in Kill the Justice League. Unfortunately, the renowned actor passed away not too long ago.

It makes sense that Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, the expansion that debuted in 2020, would have fans all over the world psyched for the upcoming sequel. The unexpected teaser, which debuted in September 2021, included Kraven the Hunter as a voiceover and portrayed Peter and Miles battling alongside each other.

The two-second peek of Venom, one of Marvel’s most well-liked and well-known characters, was undoubtedly the most intriguing element of the video. While Sony has announced that the game will launch as a PS5 exclusive at some point in the future, not much else is known about the sequel.

It is one of the more thrilling teasers to debut at the Game Awards along with gameplay footage. This game has great graphic direction, wonderful settings, and a plot that seems to be just as mysterious and fascinating as you would expect from a Soulsborne game.

It appears that gamers will be in control of Pinocchio as he travels through a dangerous metropolis searching for Mr. Geppetto, presumably on a mission to become human. There is no set release date for Lies of P, but it will be available on PS5, Xbox, and Steam.
